My children have been taking music (piano and drums) lessons from Mike for four years. He is a understanding and patient teacher. He not has a vast knowledge of music genres and music theory, he is able to communicate that in a fun and easy going manner. Mike has always been flexible with our schedule changes over the years, given proper notice is communicated on both sides.
I’ve been taking from both Mike and Angelica for a few months now and I can say it’s been a great experience. I feel very welcome and comfortable. They’re easy to talk to and easy to learn from. Angelica is not only a beautiful singer but an amazing teacher. She works on what you suggest and shows genuine interest in what you provide, including songs she thinks would fit your voice. Mike as well listens to what I have trouble with and try’s to find different ways for me to understand.
Mike is the best music teacher my son has had. He is patient and one of the nicest men you will ever meet. He is extremely knowledgeable in all genres of music from classic rock to classical. My son has been taking percussion lessons with Mike for 2 years. He continues to learn and improve plus he really enjoys not only playing music but talking to Mike about music.
I have been taking drum, piano and bass lessons from Mike for the last 6 months and have found him to been exceptionally patient and flexible and overall a great teacher. He makes everything easy to understand and breaks everything down as you need it. I have also found Mike to be flexible in the event of a scheduling conflict, with the courtesy of notice, of course.
My son has been taking piano and drum lessons from Mike for the past 3 years. Mike is a kind and patient teacher. He is wonderful at keeping my son interested in music. Mike is very professional and patient with teaching my daughter in learning to play the piano. My daughter looks forward to seeing Mike for piano and also sees Angelica for voice lessons. I see improvement week to week with both piano and voice. I find my daughter in her spare time practicing what she learned, they make it a fun experience.
Mike takes your abilities and enhances them to a level that is unbelievable. He is reliable and hard working. My son would not be the type of percussionist he is today without Mike’s tutelage. Thank you for making my son’s dreams come true!
